About us

We love DC.  We really do.  We love its splendid, complicated history and its magnificent architecture.  We love the politicians and the lobbyists and the lawyers and the judges.  We love the bananas traffic circles and street names that drive tourists crazy, and we love the gorgeous diversity and we REALLY love the food.  (We’re trying to love the insane humidity, but that’s an ongoing challenge).

So, having collaborated on projects in DC for several years, we wanted to work on something about this town that for once, didn’t involve putting out fires in someone’s hair (because in DC, someone’s hair is ALWAYS on fire). We also wanted to celebrate some of our heroes.  Nicole is the artist, and LeeAnn is the businesswoman.  

And voilà, we bring you Hill & Waterfront.
